Admins and ambassadors can now sign in on the web with their school's Microsoft 365 account. The first sign-in links it to the account they were invited with. Email code, password, Google and Apple keep working.
Admins write up to 30 approved answers and translate them. Ambassadors tap the lightning button above the message box to insert one in the prospective student's language, then edit and send it themselves. Nothing is sent automatically.
The app is now available in French, alongside English and Dutch. Screens and emails follow the language each person chooses.
The scrolling carousel has new cards and a pause button. It also holds still while a visitor hovers over it or tabs through it, and its text wraps instead of being cut off when zoomed in.
Admins can now invite many ambassadors at once by uploading a CSV file, instead of sending each invitation by hand.
Ambassador cards now show how recently each ambassador was active, so prospective students can see who has been around lately.
About me I'm happy to answer questions about diploma conversion, applying through the Dutch system, or what it's like studying at Tribe University as an international student.
Ambassadors can share another ambassador's profile straight from the message box, to point a prospective student to someone on the programme they are asking about.
The conversation dashboard now filters for unanswered conversations, conversations per ambassador and blocked conversations, with a count for each. It also shows how long ago the last message was sent.
Ambassadors and admins now see when their message has been read, and everyone in a chat sees when the other person is typing. Prospective students do not see read receipts.
Did your IB diploma count when you applied?
It did! I applied with the IB too. Happy to tell you what I sent in.

The ambassador directory, profiles, chat, conversation dashboard and admin pages were redesigned: calmer, lighter and consistent, with your school's colour tinting the whole app.
New ambassadors are guided through their profile the first time they sign in, with a live preview of their card and automatic saving, so profiles get finished.
The embed no longer makes your page jump when a visitor moves around in it, and no longer goes blank for a moment when they open a profile.
Place Tribe on a programme page and show only the ambassadors who match, for example everyone studying architecture, without visitors seeing a filter.
Signing in no longer needs a password: Tribe emails an 8-digit code that people type or paste. It is now the default way in, and a password stays optional.
Admins and ambassadors can now protect their account with an authenticator app. On the web, people can also sign in with Apple, next to Google.
Choose which languages your school offers. Each person picks theirs and gets emails in it, you translate your questions, tagline and toast text, and the embed follows the language of the page it sits on.
Connect Tribe to Zapier from the Integrations page and send new prospective students on to the other tools you use.
We audited the app against WCAG 2.2 AA. Buttons and fields now have proper names, colour is no longer the only signal, and screen readers announce when something loads or saves.
Tribe now connects to Salesforce, next to HubSpot and EspoCRM. New prospective students arrive with their answers to your onboarding questions mapped to your own fields.
Admins can pin ambassadors so they always appear first in the directory, for example a new face before an open day.
